3. Avoid accidentally starting the tool. Ensure that the tool is turned off before inserting the plug into
the socket. Moving tools with your finger on the switch or plugging tools that have the switch in the on
position can result in injury.
4. Remove the adjusting keys or wrenches before turning the tool on. A wrench or key that is left
attached to the rotating part of the tool can cause injury to the person.
5. Do not get too busy at work. Keep at all times a steady and balanced attitude. Proper attitude and
balance allow for better control of the tool in unexpected situations.
6. Use personal protective equipment. Always protect your eyesight with safety glasses. Respirator,
anti-slip safety shoes, protective helmet or hearing protection must be used under certain conditions.
Dioptric or sunglasses DO NOT protect your eyes!
Use and care for the tool
1. Use clamps or other practical ways to support and secure the workpiece to a stable base. Holding
the workpiece by hand or against the body is unstable and may lead to loss of control.
2. Do not heat the tool. Use the appropriate tool for your work. The right tool will work better and safer
at the speed for which it is designed.
3. Do not use a tool for which the trigger switch does not work. Any tool that can not be operated by a
switch is dangerous and needs to be repaired.
4. Disconnect the plug from the power supply before performing any adjustments, replacing
accessories, or storing the tool. Such preventive action reduces the risk of accidental launch of the
tool.
5. Keep the tools out of the reach of children and other untrained persons. Tools are dangerous in the
hands of unskilled users.
6. Carefully maintain tools. Keep cutting tools sharp and clean. Properly maintained tools with sharp
cutting edges are less prone to jam and easier to control.
7. Check the deflection or seizing of moving parts, component damage, and other conditions that may
affect the operation of the tool. If the tool is damaged, have it repaired before use. Many accidents are
due to poor tool maintenance.
8. Only use the accessories recommended by your manufacturer for your model. Accessories that can
be used for one model may be dangerous when used on another model.
9. The outside diameter and thickness of your accessories must be within the nominal range for your
electromechanical tools. Incorrectly sized accessories can not be sufficiently protected or controlled.
10. The clamping dimensions of the discs, flanges, support plates or all other accessories must be
suitable for fastening to the tool spindle. Accessories with clamping holes that do not fit the mounting
dimensions of the electromechanical tool will be unbalanced, may vibrate excessively and cause loss
of control.
11. Keep the bumper at a safe distance from the work area. Anyone entering the work area must use
personal protective equipment. Workpiece fragments or damaged accessories may flee and cause
injury even outside the immediate work area.
12. Never disassemble the power tool until the accessories are completely stopped.
Rotating accessories may catch the surface and loss of control of the instrument.
13. Clean the ventilation holes regularly. The engine fan draws dust into the cabinet and excessive
metal dust accumulation can cause electrical hazards.
14. Do not use accessories that require liquid cooling. Use of water or other cooling liquids may cause
injury or electric shock.
15. Pay particular attention to performing a "cut into the cavity" into existing walls or other blind areas.
The penetrating disk may cut gas or water pipes, electrical lines, or objects that may cause back lit.

1. Machine service must only be performed by a trained Sharks repairer. Service or maintenance
carried out by unqualified persons may result in the risk of injury and the product is not covered by

Maintenance section of this instruction manual. Use of non-original spare parts or failures while
adhering to the maintenance instructions may result in the risk of electric shock or injury.
