Sometimes during transport and handling, air gets into the
hydraulic system causing poor lifting performance. Before the
initial operation purge any air from the system by following
these steps:
1. Fully opening the release valve (turn the handle knob
counter clockwise).
2. Then while holding the saddle down pump the pedal rapidly
several times.
3. Close the release valve (turn the handle knob clockwise).
4. Pump the trolley jack to its operational height, which
completes the trolley jack purge. You can test this under
load if you wish.
