Connecting a voltage supply

Risk of damage due to incorrect polarity when connecting the voltage supply.

Ensure correct polarity when connecting the voltage supply.
The following figure shows the connection of the voltage supply:

Using the 24 V supply connector with AC/DC power supply unit
Do the following:

The monitor is connected.
1. Connect the grounding cable to the grounding screw of the monitor.
2. Connect the 24 V supply connector included in the delivery to the AC/DC power
supply unit, for example, the UWU52A (→
14) switched-mode power supply
from SEW-EURODRIVE.
3. Plug the 24 V supply connector into the X4 terminal socket of the monitor.
4. Connect a power supply cable to the power socket that meets regional require-
ments.
