excessive force has been used to pull
the power cord, it must no longer be
used: even invisible damage may have
adverse effects on the operational safety
of the appliance.
∙ Always remove the plug from the wall
socket
- after use,
- in case of any malfunction, and also
- before cleaning the appliance.
∙ When removing the plug from the wall
socket, never pull on the power cord;
always grip the plug itself.
∙ No responsibility will be accepted if
damage results from improper use, or if
these instructions are not complied with.
General information
∙ Refrigeration appliances are classified
into certain climate classes. Please refer
to the product data sheet for information
on the classification for this unit; the
data sheet can be found at the end of
this manual.
∙ It should be operated in conditions
where the relative humidity is no more
than
70 %.
∙ The product data sheet at the end of this
manual contains details of the ambient
temperature range suitable for this
appliance.
∙ This cool-box uses thermo-electric
technology and is therefore able to
provide cooling as well as heating. The
appliance cools down as low as 20 °C
below ambient temperature, and heats
up to 50-60 °C.
Before using for the first time
Remove any packaging materials and
clean the unit as described in the section
Cleaning and care.
Lid
∙ The lid can be locked by folding the
carrying handle over towards the hinged
side of the lid. To unlock, move the
handle to the opposite side.
∙ The lid has two circular covers. The
right-hand one with the (←|→) arrow
markings can be opened by turning it.
The compartment below contains the
operating switches , indicator light and
power supply cables.
Operation mode selector switch
COLD The cooling function is switched
on.
OFF The appliance is switched off.
HOT The
heating function is switched
on.
Power mode selector switch
ECO The appliance is in power-saving
mode (can only be selected in
220-240 V mode). Recommended
if the cool-box is only partly filled.
OFF The appliance is switched off.
MAX Appliance operating at maximum
power.
Indicator lights
The ‘cooling’ function is indicated by the
green light.
The red indicator light shows that the
‘keep-warm’ function is enabled.
