The locking knob (1) is not in the correct position.  

 Turn the selector switch to its ‘Off’ position ( ). Check the mixing bowl and lid for correct positioning and lock the 

appliance again. 

Wind-up cable storage

The wind-up power cord storage on the rear the base helps limiting the length of the power cord during use, and also makes it easy 

to store the appliance.

Cleaning and care

 

 Before cleaning the appliance, ensure it is disconnected from the power supply and has cooled down completely.

 

 To avoid the risk of electric shock, do not clean the appliance with liquids or immerse it.

 

 Do not use abrasives or harsh cleaning solutions.

 

 Clean the main unit by wiping it with a slightly damp cloth.

 

 Clean the inside of the mixing bowl under running water. Do not immerse the lower part of the bowl in water.

 

 The bowl is not dishwasher-safe.

 

 All other detachable parts may be cleaned in hot, soapy water or in the dishwasher. 

 

 If necessary, the blade may be cleaned with a soft brush. 

Caution:

  The blade is extremely sharp.

 

 The contacts underneath the mixing bowl must be kept clean and dry at all times. Any food residue must be removed immediately.
