Properly connected Buss-it! Tiles. Note that one side of the ribbon cable (brown in this case) remains
oriented towards the bottom of each module, ensuring that all channels are properly routed.
Connecting Your Buss-It! System
1. Use the 6-pin IDC ribbon cable to connect one Buss-It! module tile to an adjacent Buss-It! module tile
via one set of rear pin headers. Take extra care to preserve the orientation of the ribbon cable and ensure
that the pins labeled "ground" are connected from module to module!
2. Mount the Buss-It! tiles so that they are distributed at useful points throughout your system.
3. Patch your Buss-It!. Use the four jacks on each module to route useful signals anywhere you need
them. Channel 1 on each module corresponds to Channel 1 on each other module, as does Channel 2, 3,
and 4. Again,
the Buss-It! does NOT provide any signal protection so one (and only one) instance
of each Channel should be treated as the input, while the rest are strictly outputs.
We hope you have an enjoyable and clutter-free patching experience using our Buss-it system. Thank
you for using SetonixSynth products!
