User Interface
Defining a gas mixture for moisture analysis can be accomplished in two ways.
The user can select gases from a table of thirteen supported gases, and then specify
the % volume for each gas, or the user can select a pre-defined mixture called a
template. Both options are available through the GSF Editor Screen by means of
the ‘Supported Gases’ display as shown in Figure 16 and the ‘Template’ display as
shown in Figure 17.
To switch between the ‘Supported Gases’ display, Figure 16, and the ‘Template’
display, Figure 17, use the
Up
arrow key to move to the top of the Supported Gas
or Template list, at which point the arrow on the screen above the list will turn red.
Hit the
Up
arrow key one more time and the screens will toggle between
Supported Gases and Template. Note that the red arrow key in the upper left part
of the screen is displayed only when the top item is selected in the "Supported
Gases" or "Templates" screen.
To navigate to different areas on a screen (tables and buttons), use the
Next
key
on the front keypad.

Figure 16: GSF Supported Gases Display
The Supported Gases display in the GSF editor, as shown in Figure 16, is used
to specify a new mixture for analysis by first identifying the gases in the
mixture and then identifying the percentage of each gas in the mixture. Note -
pressing
Esc
at any time, will return the user to the Data Display screen
canceling any changes made to the GSF Editor to that point.
7.4.1.1.1 To identify gases:
