Replacing battery

The wireless unit 23-080 can be connected to an
adapter 23-513 or can use batteries. The working life
of the batteries is determined by the frequency of
activation and the ambient temperature. Frequent
activation in cold conditions produces shorter battery
life. When the batteries are empty, the light will be
abnormal and the batteries should be replaced.
The adapter 23-513 that powers the unit 23-080 is
the best cost solution.

Changing batteries

1. Open the battery cover on the bottom of

the unit. Fig. 1

2. Fit the 6 x 1.5 volt AA batteries ensuring

correct polarity. Incorrectly fitted batteries can
damage the unit. Fig. 3

3. Replace the battery cover. Fig. 4

Labelling
The location of the various transmitters can be
indicated on the front of the unit. The LED indicates
which transmitter has activated the unit.
Remove the plastic cover and write the transmitter
location on the label. Then replace the label and
cover. Fig. 7
