USAGE
It can often be difficult to know which temperature setting is best. To help with this, we have
provided a table with common temperatures and their typical uses.

This is the lowest wash temperature that
we recommend. By using a detergent that
can work at this temperature, you’ll save on
water and electricity bills.
40

C
This is the most common wash temperature,
suitable for most everyday items.
50

C
This is suitable for most polyester/cotton
mixtures and nylon.
60
0
C
This higher temperature is recommended for
heavily soiled garments such as baby clothes
or bed linen and towels.
90
0
C
This is the hottest temperature available on
your Washing Machine and is suitable for
white cottons and linen that show dirt.
Note:
90
0
C is not displayed in the
Wash Temperature Indicators section of the display panel.
Please be aware that the programme setting provides the default temperature for the selected
programme. You can override this setting by decreasing the temperature should you wish.
Additional Functions:
To allow you to get the best washing results possible, your Washing Machine offers the
following additional functions to complement the selected programme.
Allergy Rinse
- Select this function by pressing the Allergy Rinse button when the Allergy
Rinse indicator is displayed. The selected programme will include an extra hot rinse for a
thorough removal of any detergent residue.
Easy Ironing
- Select this function by pressing the Easy Ironing button when
the symbol is displayed. This means your laundry will be less wrinkled when the wash
is
completed.
Child Lock
- Press and hold both the Allergy Rinse and Easy Ironing buttons for 3 seconds
to activate the child lock. This locks the control panel. Once activated, you can press and
hold both buttons for 3 seconds to release the child lock.
Cancelling a Programme:
To cancel a programme while it is running:

Turn the programme dial to the top position. The programme will stop.

Turn the programme dial to any programme. Your Washing Machine will discharge any
water left from the cancelled programme.
Programme End:
Your Washing Machine will automatically stop once the selected programme has finished. The
Finished light will illuminate.
