Check-up, cleaning of Air Filter
When the filter element is dirty, it can cause high resistance at inlet side, reduce power output and increase fuel consumption.
Air filter should be maintained regularly.
More frequent maintenance for driving in dusty place＞
• Do not operate the engine without air filter, otherwise it will damage the engine seriously;
• For periodic operation under dusty, humid and mud conditions, more frequent air filter check-up should be done than the maintenance plan.
• If there’s some water in air filter, clean the part and the inside surface of air filter cover immediately.
1. Remove the front seat cushion;
2. Remove the screw and air filter cover;
3. Demount the inner tube of air filter tube, and then remove the air filter parts;
4. Air filter components should be replaced if it is too dirty, worn or damaged;
5. Install the air filter;
6. Fit the removed parts according in the reverse order of demounting.
