Connect to Vehicle Information System

Separate instructions are provided on how to connect the Tactile Inlay to the specific Vehicle
Information System.

Connect the Tactile Inlay to the Vehicle Information System
!
Use a high quality extension USB cable for optimal signal processing.
1.
Connect the USB cable of the Tactile Inlay to an extension cable with required length. See
troubleshoot for lengths over 2m.
2.
Guide the cable from the Tactile Inlay through the car frame to the Vehicle Information System and
fixate the wiring to the car frame using tie-wraps.
3.
Connect the USB-cable to the Vehicle Information System.
4.
Follow the separate instructions on how to set up the software connection to the Vehicle
Information System.
9.
Test the system

Test the system before placing the upholstery back onto the seat.
1.
Switch the system on in the Vehicle Information System, all vibration motors should vibrate.
