Adjust the Tactile Inlay to fit
!
Disconnect the Tactile Inlay from power or Vehicle Information System before making adjustments.

Be careful to not cut through cables of the car seat while making alterations.
!
Always cut from the bottom of the Tactile Inlay to have cables in sight.
!
Ensure that cables are protected from hard areas such as metal strips in the car seat.
1.
Lay the Tactile Inlay on top of car seat, align with center and front of seat. For best results; let the
Tactile Inlay follow the curve at the front of the car seat. Use a straight cut if modifications are
required.

If necessary, adjust Tactile Inlay to size, to equally spread sub-areas among car seat area, following
the guidelines in chapter 3.5.1.
a.
Flip the Tactile Inlay upside down.
b.
Take cables from the cable slots in the foam so they are clearly visible.
c.
Carefully cut the Tactile Inlay along markings to separate sub-areas in order to place these
parts in-between seams. Do not cut through the cables.
Cut the foam edge under an angle of 45-60 degrees to ensure that the upholstery follows
the Tactile Inlay nicely.
d.
Press the cables back into the pre-cut slots, or cut new cable slots according to the required
size.
3.
Cut away excess foam that does not cover the center area of the car seat.
4.
Use excess foam to fill gaps to ensure optimal comfort. Cut slits the bottom foam layer to support
the wiring.
