If the readout differs from the value of the gas bottle used, the span can be calibrated
by using either the magnet, the calibration keyboard or by software on PC. See the
proper manual of each instrument described.

Unscrew or remove the calibration cap and let the detector stabilize for 3-4 minutes

3. Notes and precautions
Please be aware of:

To perform a correct test please fulfil the above-mentioned instructions.

The stabilizing periods to gas refer to Methane and CO. These periods can considerably
vary according to the gas being employed.

The above test method is equivalent to the method performed in our Laboratory ac-
cording to the EN 50054.

Possible measuring errors are calculated in ± 5% full scale.
4. Instructions for disposal
When the device reaches the end of its life, it should be disposed of in accordance with local
waste management requirements and environmental legislation.
Alternatively, the old device may be securely packaged, clearly marked for environmental
disposal and returned to Sensitron.
