TROUBLESHOOTING
MALFUNCTION
POSSIBLE CAUSE
REMEDY
The motor unit is
running but the
screw shaft is not
turning.
The safety clutch is
broken.
Disassemble the grinding attachment
and thoroughly clean away any
fragments of the clutch from all its
parts. Slide a new safety clutch on to the
screw shaft.
Faulty clutch or
motor.
Contact the supplier or professional
service centre.
The motor unit is
running irregularly,
its speed is
fluctuating.
Large amount of
food is inserted or
you are pushing
down too hard on
the pusher.
Insert the food more slowly and push
gently on the pusher.
The motor unit
stops during
operation and
cannot be started.
The motor
overheated and its
overload protection
automatically shut
it off.
Turn off the meat grinder, disconnect it
from the power socket and allow it to
cool down sufficiently.
Motor malfunction. Contact the supplier or professional
service centre.
Food is not
sufficiently
defrosted.
The cross blade

Clean out the feed tube.

The grinder cannot
be turned on, the
motor unit does not
start rotating.
Unless there is

evidently the main
power switch or
power cord is
faulty.
Contact the supplier or professional
service centre.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Tip:
Remains of unground meat may remain in the grinding chamber
that are hard to clean away. To make their removal easier, you can
grind a piece of bread or bread roll. We recommend disassembling
the grinding attachment in a kitchen sink or a larger bowl to prevent
potentially soiling the work surface.
■
Before cleaning, the appliance must be turned off and disconnected from the power
socket. Never clean the grinder or its parts when it is turned on and running.
■
If the grinder is used for an extended period of time, it is possible that unit may be
hot to touch. Allow it to cool down before cleaning it.
■
Disassemble the attachment into its individual parts. Clean away any food remains,
wash in warm water with dish washing detergent and rinse under clean running
water. Then allow them to dry naturally or dry them out thoroughly using a wiping
cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaning products.
■
No part of the grinding attachment is suitable for washing in a dishwasher.
Attention:
When cleaning the cross blade
A8
, be very careful not to injure
yourself on its sharp cutting edges.
■
If food remains are left on some parts of the grinding attachment, we recommend
soaking these parts in warm water with a small amount of kitchen detergent, and to
leave them to soak for a certain time, e.g. overnight. The soaking time depends on
how soiled the accessories are.
■
To clean the outer surface of the motor unit base
A1
, use a cloth lightly dipped in
a weak detergent solution. After applying the detergent solution, wipe the surface
with a cloth lightly dampened in clean water and then wipe dry. Do not use solvents,
abrasive cleaning products, etc. for cleaning the appliance. Otherwise the surface
coat of the appliance may be damaged.
Attention:
Never submerge the motor unit base
A1
or the power cord in
water or in any other liquid.
STORAGE
■
When you have finished using the appliance, place it and its accessories in a clean,
dry place out of children‘s reach. Keep the stored appliance and its accessories away
from extreme temperatures, direct sunlight and excessive humidity and do not store
it in an overly dusty environment.
