BEFORE FIRST USE

1.  Remove the coffee grinder from the packing material.
2.  Turn the lid A

1

anticlockwise to release it, then take it off. Wash it under warm running water using

kitchen detergent. Then rinse it with clean water and thoroughly wipe dry.

3.  Wipe the hopper A

2

 and the grinding blade A

3

with a clean lightly dampened wiping cloth and

then wipe it until it is thoroughly dry.

Attention:

When cleaning the grinding blade A

3

, be very careful not to injure yourself on the sharp edge.

USING THE COFFEE GRINDER

1.  Wind the power cord out of the storage area A

7

.

2.  Turn the lid A

1

anticlockwise to release it, then take it off. Pour coffee beans into the hopper A

2

. The

hopper A

2

has a maximum capacity of 60 g of coffee beans. Do not fill the hopper A

2

 past the edge.

Tip:

You may also use the coffee grinder for grinding nuts, herbs, poppy seeds and certain types of
spices. Shells must be removed from nuts before grinding.

Attention:

Do not use the coffee grinder to grind excessively hard foodstuffs such as nutmeg, etc.

3.  Place the lid A

1

 on to the hopper A

2

and turn it clockwise until the symbols marked on the lid

A

1

and the coffee grinder base unit A

4

line up. This will lock the lid A

1

 in place. When locked in

place, the lid A

1

cannot be lifted off. The coffee grinder is equipped with a safety mechanism that

prevents it from being started when the lid A

1

 is not properly attached.

4.  Connect the coffee grinder to a power socket and press the pulse button A

5

 to start it. The coffee

grinder will continue to run while the button A

5

is pressed. The coarseness of the ground coffee

depends on the grinding time. The longer you grind it, the finer it will be.

Attention:

The  maximum  continuous  operating  time  is  30  seconds.  After  30  seconds  of  continuous
operation, allow the coffee grinder to rest for 2 minutes.

Tip:

Always prepare your coffee beverage from freshly ground coffee. Coffee that is ground in
advance loses its flavour and aroma.

5.  To stop the coffee grinder, release the pulse button A

5

. Disconnect the coffee grinder from the power

socket. Make sure that the grinding blade A

3

has stopped rotating. Turn the lid A

1

 anticlockwise

to release it, then take it off. Tip the ground coffee into a suitable container.

6.  Clean out the coffee grinder after each use according to the instructions in chapter Cleaning and

maintenance.
