High-Pass Filter

The high-pass filter setting can be used to reduce the sensitivity of the microphone to low-frequency 
sounds, additional noise and vibration from outside traffic, air conditioning or other background audio� 
When set to ON (

) the SCM-660 will filter sound 80 Hz and below� The OFF setting (

) results in 

no filtering�  

Attenuation Pad

The SCM-660’s attenuation pad can be used to lower the output by 10 dB for preventing distortion 
when recording loud sound sources like singing, percussion, or guitar amplifiers� In the left position, 
there is 0dB attenuation, in the right position, there is -10dB attenuation�
