*NOTE:
The freezer interior temperature may vary about 3 °C depending on the
ambient temperature, the amount of food stored, and how frequently the freezer
door is opened. Please make fine adjustments to the Thermostat according to the
usage conditions.
TIP:
If a power failure occurs, do not open the freezer door. Frozen food can normally
be maintained in the freezer if the power failure lasts for less than
20 hours
. If the
power failure is longer, then the defrosted food must be eaten quickly, or if raw,
cooked and then re-frozen (after cooling).
QUICK FREEZE FUNCTION
If you need to freeze a large amount of fresh food, you can set the Thermostat knob
to the Quick Freeze position (highest setting “7”) for about
3 hours
to freeze the fresh
food quickly. Once elapsed, lower the Thermostat knob to the required setting.
CAUTION!
Do not leave the Thermostat knob in the Quick Freeze position
for more than 24 hours after quick freezing as the compressor will be
running continuously under this setting.
FREEZER MODE
When switching from Refrigerator Mode to Freezer Mode, remember to take out the
food that does not need freezing to avoid frost damage.
REFRIGERATOR MODE
When switching from Freezer Mode to Refrigerator Mode, follow these steps:
■
Set the Thermostat knob to Refrigerator Mode, then remove all the frozen food
from the appliance.
■
Keep the appliance empty for 1 hour, and then put the necessary food back in.
