ADJUSTING THE THERMOSTAT
Adjust the temperature, as indicated in the scheme below:
Acetate, acrylic,
nylon
● Dry Ironing – follow the instructions on the label, usually these
types of materials need only light ironing.
Polyester, rayon
●/●● Dry Ironing – iron both the internal and external parts of the
clothes.
Wool, cotton
●●/●●● Steam Ironing - iron both the internal and external parts of the
clothes. Put a light cloth on the plate to avoid the clothes will became
glossy.
Light cotton,
starched clothes
●●● Steam Ironing – Starch the clothes before starting ironing
Linen
MAX -
Steam Ironing – Use a lot of steam with this type of clothes
HINTS FOR A BETTER IRONING
•
If you don’t know the kind of fabric of the clothes you wish to iron, adjust the
thermostat at minimum, increasing the temperature step by step.
•
If the clothes are made of different fabrics, adjust the temperature according to the
fabric that needs a lower temperature.
•
The iron become hot very fast; on the contrary it gets cool very slowly. Pay attention
while using the iron. Wait until the appliance has completely chilled.
•
Continuous steam: keep the iron at a minimum distance of 20 cm while steaming the
clothes.
WATER REFILLING
Do not overfill the boiler tank.
1.
Press the (H) button to switch off the appliance.
2.
Press and hold continuous steam button (B) depressurize the boiler from the remaining
steam.
Not performing this operation may cause serious risks for the final user.
3.
Unplug the appliance from the wall outlet.
4.
Wait at least 10-15 minutes for the complete cooling of the boiler.
5.
Slowly unscrew the safety cap (G), paying attention because it can be some residual
pressure inside the boiler.
6.
Fill in the boiler and properly screw the safety cap.
WARNING! Let the boiler chill before unscrewing the cap. DANGER OF BURN!
Wait for some minutes and slowly add some warm water.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
WARNING! Let the boiler chill before starting to clean the appliance. Always
unplug the steam station before starting the maintenance and/or the cleaning
operations.
