INSTALLATION
MOUNTING:
1. Carefully choose a location to route the video / power cable into the vehicle dash
board.
2. Secure the monitor into place by using the provided 3M double side tape and stick it
down to the dash board surface. Make sure to clean the mounting surface with an
alcohol wipe to ensure the best mount. Make sure that all of the alcohol is dry before
attempting to secure the monitor with the tape
3. Before final mounting, make sure that the monitor will not black the driver’s view when
looking out the windshield.

WIRING:
1. Route the monitor’s power / video harness down into the dash board where you can
make all of the power and video connections
2. Route the YELLOW RCA video plug of your reverse camera up the side or middle of the
vehicle and plug it into the Yellow RCA connector of the SV-9142.MDM monitor
3. Plug-in the power adaptor to the RED power plug of the monitor. Connect the RED wire
to the 12 volt ignition wire and connect the BLACK wire to chassis ground.
4. Make sure to zip tie all of the cables to other existing harnesses under the dash board
so they are out of the way and do not hand down from under the dash board or get
caught on any moving parts under the dash.
