10.0 PROTOCOL SETUP
NOTE: This menu is used instead of DIP switches to set the
communication parameters for the camera. After making a change
and exiting the menu, the controller must be set to match the
camera before PTZ control can be regained.
From the MAIN MENU, use the DOWN button to highlight
PROTOCOL SETUP and use the OPEN button to access the sub
menu.
The PROTOCOL SETUP menu page will display:
9.1 PROTOCOL
Use the DOWN button to select PROTOCOL. Use the LEFT &
RIGHT buttons to select either PELCO-D or PELCO-P. All
SecurityTronix PTZ controllers use the PELCO-D protocol. Check
the owner
’s manual of your PTZ controller to determine if it is
compatible with either the PELCO-D or PELCO-P protocols. These
are the only 2 control protocols this camera model supports.
