SECO-LARM U.S.A., Inc.
7
Overview:
Before the Mini PTZ Camera is installed, first set up the DIP switches to configure the camera address. The
communication protocol is configured automatically by the camera.
1.
Remove the clear dome of the Mini PTZ Camera by turning it counterclockwise by hand.
2.
Look for the DIP switch block near the base of the black plastic dome that surrounds the camera. DO
NOT REMOVE THE BLACK PLASTIC DOME.
3.
Set the camera address (8-pin DIP switch):
The camera address is a number from 1 to 255. The factory default camera address is "1".
Do not use "0" as a camera address.
The address of a particular camera must match the address setting of the DVR or keyboard
controller.
To get the camera address, add the total DIP switches that are in the ON position.
Example: If DIP switches 1, 4, and 6 are ON then the camera address is 1+8+32=41.
