Data/Time
Before using your SECACAM for the first time, you will need to set the
correct date and time. Use the ‘Up’ and ‘Down’ arrows to change the time
settings and use the ‘Left’ and ‘Right’ arrows to change positions. Confirm
your date and time settings by pressing the ‘OK’ button. The date and time
will now appear in every image to document when it was taken.

Battery-type
The SECACAM Raptor Mobile can be used with AA 1.5V rechargeable bat-
teries. To view the correct battery display, you should select which battery
type you using on the menu option. (Generally rechargeable batteries have a
longer battery life with a lower voltage)
5.21
SD-Cycle
Activating this menu setting allows your camera to record new videos and
images over older ones once your memory card has reached capacity.
When the SD cycle is activated, the overwriting will start with the oldest
recordings. This option is especially recommended if the SECACAM Raptor
Mobile is used for security purposes.
5.22
Reset
This function allows you to reset your SECACAM to factory settings. Do so
by choosing the ‘Yes’ option, when prompted, then press the ‘OK’ button.
The date and time setting is not affected, nor will any of your data be erased.
5.23
Kamera PIN
After switching your camera ‘ON’, enter a six-digit PIN number to protect
your camera against unauthorised use. Using the ‘Up’ and ‘Down’ arrows,
change the digits of your PIN. Using the ‘Left’ and ‘Right’ arrows, you can
switch the position of the highlighted area. Once you have selected a PIN
number, confirm it by pressing the ‘OK’ button. We recommend that you
choose a code you are familiar with and to write down the number in a
secure place. This password is just to protect your camera, it has nothing to
do with your Control Centre PIN.
