Abbreviations used in the technical speci-
fications section
kW Kilowatt, engine power measurement.
PS
Pferdestärke (horsepower), formerly
used to denote engine power.
rpm, 1/min Revolutions per minute - engine speed.
Nm Newton metres, unit of engine torque.
CZ
Cetane number, indication of the die-
sel combustion power.
RON
Research octane number, indication of
the knock resistance of petrol.

Chassis number
The VIN is located in the Easy Connect and
under the windscreen, on the driver side

right-hand side. The number is engraved on
the top side rail, and is partially covered.

Identification plate
The identification plate is located on the rear
pillar of the right-hand front door. Vehicles for
certain export countries do not have an iden-
tification plate.
Identifying letters
The identifying letters of the engine can be
viewed on the instrument panel when the en-
gine is switched off and the ignition is on.
