Be sure to disconnect the lamp from the mains power supply before carrying out any maintenance.
4.1
Keep the lamp clean.
4.2
check cable for any signs of wear. If the plug and/or cable are worn/broken, remove the lamp from service immediately and have it
repaired by a qualified electrician.
4.3
to change the fluorescent tube, unscrew the four cover retaining screws on the rear of the lamp casing.
4.4
remove the retaining band from the top of the tube.
4.5
Holding the tube near the bottom, gently lever from side to side whilst applying an upward force.
4.6
Insert a new tube using a lint-free cloth to handle the new tube. ensure that the tube is seated correctly.
4.7
refit the retaining band.
4.8
screw the cover back into place.

Plug the lamp into the mains supply and switch on.
3.2
When finished, turn off the lamp using the mains supply switch.
