 Check that you have all the above details in the packaging.

5.2. Assembly:- 

5.2.1.

Offer the lower handle frames (item 2) into the preformed "U" channels of the cutter rear deck wing brackets and over the the domed 
head studs, see fig.2.

5.2.2.

Clamp the assembly with the knob plain washer and "C" washer. 

5.2.3.

Fit the upper handle sub assembly (item 1) containing the safety throttle lever and cable to the lower handle (item 2) paying special 
attention to the cable run. Clamp the frame with the details shown in fig.3.

5.2.4.

Position the cable clip (item 4) just below the frame clamp, see fig.1.

5.2.5

Attach grass box if required (item 6) with the grass box hooks. Lift the spring loaded hinged panel and hook over hinged panel spindle, 
see fig.4. 

NOTE:

 The blade must be fitted observing the stamped arrow, fig.6. The retaining bolt has a standard RH thread.

5.3.

Blade fitting:-

5.3.1 Decide on the grass cutting length required, a choice of 8 are available, from 20mm to 70mm approximate grass  length settings. In   

fig.5 a lever adjusts mower cutting height. Pull the lever crank from the notch and sweep the lever to desired height notch. 

5.3.2 To remove the blade, hold the blade with a gloved hand and undo the centre bolt with a 14mm spanner, see fig.6. 

  

WARNING 

If fuel remains in the tank, tilting of the mower may cause fuel leaks.

5.3.3. To refit or change the blade, hold the blade in a gloved hand and tighten the centre bolt (30Nm).

NOTE:

 The blade must be fitted observing the stamped arrow, fig.6. The retaining screw has a standard RH thread.
