Technical Description
The SeaI/O USB serial expansion modules utilize USB UARTs. These chips feature programmable baud rate,
data format, 128-byte Dual Port TX Buffer, and 384-byte Dual Port RX Buffer. The transceivers support data rates
up to 921.6K bps. and integrated status LEDs on each RJ45 serial port display transmit and receive data activity.
Common Features
All SeaI/O USB serial expansion modules include the same connectors on the left side

through connector, 1.3mm 9-30VDC barrel connector, and a 6-position removable screw terminal:
USB Interface & LED
A high-
retention USB Type “B” connector helps to prevent accidental disconnection of the USB cable. A green
status LED next to the USB connector (labeled ‘PWR’) lights to indicate the module is properly connected to an
input power source.
