Simplify the layout
– eliminate unnecessary valves and
hose runs.
2.
Use plumbing fittings or hose with generous bend radii to
avoid hose kinking.
3.
Do not run hose or piping close to heat sources.
4.
Avoid sharp edges where hose or pipe pass through
bulkheads or panels.
5.
Pre-heat hose using SeaLand Hose Heaters.
6.
Follow the hose connection procedure on pages 34-36.
7.
Double clamp all hose connections, rotating clamps 180 .
8.
Use only RIGID PIPING for any runs containing standing
sewage.
9.
Follow solvent bonding procedure per page 11.
