Installing Seagate Dashboard (Windows):
1. Locate and open the folder named
“FreeAgent GoFlex Drive.”
2. Double-click on the file titled
“Setup.exe.”
3. After this, the Seagate Product Registration page will appear. (NOTE: Registering your
drive is optional.) Select your country and click
Next
. The next page will ask you to enter
the Serial Number, which is located on the bottom of the GoFlex or GoFlex Pro ultra-
portable drives and begins with “S/N.” Go ahead and enter the eight numbers and letters
that make up the Serial Number, then click
Next
. Now that your drive is registered, let’s
continue with the installation process.
4. Next, the Installer Language will appear. Select the language of your choice and click on
OK.
5. The next window is titled Seagate Dashboard Setup.
Click
Next
to proceed. The following window is titled
“Seagate Dashboard Setup.”
