Installing Seagate Dashboard (Mac):
1. Locate and double-click on the drive named
“FreeAgent GoFlex Drive”
in Finder.
2. Double-click on the folder titled
“Seagate Software Bundle Installer for Mac.”
3. Double-click on the file named
“Mac Installer.dmg”
to run this program. You will see the
following window pop up:
Double-click on the icon above the words
“MacInstall”
to run this program.
4. After this, the
Seagate Product Registration
page will appear. (NOTE: Registering your
drive is optional.) Select your country and click
Next
.
5. The next page will ask you to enter the Serial Number, which is located on the bottom of
the GoFlex ultra-portable drive and begins with “S/N.” Go ahead and enter the eight
numbers and letters that make up the Serial Number, then click
Next
.
Now that your drive is registered, let’s continue with the installation process.
