Synchronous data transfer
The data transfer period to be used by the drive and the initiator is established
by an exchange of messages during the Message Phase of operation. See
the section on message protocol in the
SCSI-2 Interface Product Manual.

The maximum REQ/ACK offset supported by Elite 9 drives is 15 (0Fh).

DC cable and connector
The drive receives DC power through a 4-pin connector mounted at the rear
of the main PCB (see Figure 15.) Recommended part numbers of the mating
connector are listed below, but equivalent parts may be used.
