Rinse the BLIS copper tube with fresh water. Fill it up if you wish; it will run out the bottom as it
is not water tight.
6.
Fill a spare BLIS reservoir (baby bottle) with fresh water and reinstall, including the cap to keep
pressure on the bottle.
7.
Gently fill the CTD intake tube with fresh water.
8.
From PicoDOS, run the STOR-
X’s COMM program. Assuming the WQM is on port 1, the
command would be as follows:
COMM 1 19200
9.
You will see the boot up sequence of the COMM program, followed by that of the WQM, as
shown below. As soon as you see the first WQM, send five exclamation points
!!!!!
to stop the
WQM. Don’t allow the WQM to run without doing this –
you risk damaging the Sea-Bird pump!
