Outputs:
- Balanced alarm output for powered sounders, with signalling of fault for cut/short circuit.
- Service alarm output available on free power contact and service alarm output with retractable positive.
- Positive safety fault output (relay normally charged) which can be selected as free contact N.C. or N.A.
- Aux programmable output available on free power contact.
- Programmable electronic outputs 1-6 (outputs 1-4 can be selected as an alternative to auxiliary inputs 1-4).
Light signals:
- Green LED to signal MAIN POWER SUPPLY OK.
- Yellow LED to signal general FAULT.
- Yellow LED to signal general DEACTIVATION.
- Red LED to signal general ALARM.
- Yellow LED to signal POWER SUPPLY FAULT, EARTH FAULT, SOUNDER FAULT, CPU FAULT, FUSE FAULT.
- Yellow LED to signal ALARM ACTIVATION DELAY.
- Yellow LED to signal DEACTIVATION SOUNDERS/GENERAL ALARM RELAY.
- Yellow LED to signal DEACTIVATION GENERAL FAULT RELAY.
- Green LED to signal 2ND ACCESS LEVEL ACTIVATED.
- Yellow LED to signal general TEST ACTIVATED.
- Yellow LED to signal BUZZER OFF FAULT/ALARM.
- Red LED to signal PREALARM/ALARM for each single zone.
- Yellow LED to signal FAULT for each single zone.
- Yellow LED to signal DEACTIVATION/TESTS for each single zone.
Alphanumeric display:
- 16 x 2 character alphanumeric display for auxiliary visualization of: panel's status, details of zones/sectors and lines
status, events and to control the stages of local configuration etc.
For each of the 248 lines and 32 zones/sectors, it is possible to configure a personalised message of 16 characters
which will be displayed on the relative panel.
Acoustic signals on piezoelectric buzzer:
- Continuous stoppable sound to signal FAULT/PREALARM/ALARM.
- Impulse sound for feedback pressing enabled keys.
Commands:
- Numerical ke function keys to type in level 2 activation code to run selections of lines and zones/sectors,
special functions, to control the functions of specific deactivation/activation, for functions of set-up, display, LED test etc.
- Keys enabled at access level 2 for: MEMORY RESET, GENERAL ALARM RELAY ON/OFF, GENERAL FAULT RELAY
ON/OFF, ON/OFF TEST.
- Key to silence buzzer, activated when the buzzer sounds.
This function automatically reverses if the faulty condition which activated the buzzer returns.
The key allows the alarm output to be stopped at access level 2 if set at the configuration stage.
- IMMEDIATE ALARM key to annul delay and directly activate the alarm. It is always ready, but effectively only operates
when the alarm delay is being counted or when there is a state of stopped alarm output.
Expandability:
- A max. of 31 collective concentrators with 8 inputs (RAIK-l) can be run for a total of 248 individually controlled lines .
Each of the input lines of the collective concentrators can run a max. of 32 manual call points or conventional detectors
or single gas detection detectors.
Í
NOTE:
Although it is possible to run up to 32 detectors per line and up to 248 lines, the total maximum number of
detectors run by the panel must not exceed
512
, a limit imposed on the ALPHA 16-248 panel to conform with
standard EN54-2.
- Option of connecting up to a max. of 8 programmable relay modules (RAIK-U or EX8R) for a total of 64 programmable
outputs.
2-2 OPTIONAL EN54 FUNCTIONS CONTROLLED
- Option of running TEST of individual zones, activated from access level 2.
- Option of setting delay alarm controls for individual lines .
- Control of output stops (if applicable to the configuration).
