ACCESS LEVELS
- Access level 1, always on. Access level 1 makes available all light displays,
the buzzer off command and immediate alarm command.
- Access level 2 can be activated by code or external key. It allows access to
reset command, stopping the outputs, deactivation and tests.
- Access levels 3,4, can be reached by opening the panel case and using
specific means/procedures. Use them for panel configuration operations.
ZONE/SECTOR/LINE CONTROL
The panel can control up to a maximum of 32 zones/sectors for each of
which it makes available, through LED, the signalling of alarms, faults,
deactivation/tests. The lines can be freely linked with a single zone. Using
extension modules it can be reached an overall maximum of 248 collective
lines.

NOTE
:
To meet the requirements of standard
EN54-2
it should however
be taken into account that:
a) Each zone must not control a number of detector greater
than
32 (
see UNI 9795/1999).
b) In consideration of the fact that the panel can run up to 248
collective lines and that every collective line can theoretically
run up to 32 detectors, bear in mind that the total number of
detectors connected to the panel must not be greater than
512
.

NOTE:
2 modules RAIK-I are the default configuration on the ALPHA 16-248 panel.
INPUTS FOR DETECTORS
8 inputs for 27V two-wire lines with current consumption control and
balancing through 4.7Kohm ¼W end of line resistance.

- with dip sel. threshold ON: min 21 mA, max 60 mA.
Alarm, if prealarm programmed:
- with dip sel. threshold OFF (see plans): min 21 mA, max 60 mA
- with dip sel. threshold ON: min 36 mA, max 60 mA.
Fault: <3 mA or > 65mA (fault if Vline < 3V).
CONNECTION TO THE PANEL
The concentrator modules with 8 inputs can be connected to the panel by
SPI local bus.
OUTPUT CONCENTRATOR MODULES RAIK-U (EX8R: 8 ways relay module):

modules RAIK-U are optional modules.
OUTPUTS
8 relay outputs programmable in the panel or by PC with CFGRAIK software,
for repetition of signalling alarms, faults, panel operating states etc.
OUTPUTS MAX. LOAD
The relay contacts can drive a maximum load of 5A at 30V.
CONNECTION TO PANEL
The concentrator modules can be connected to the panel by SPI local bus.
