Note:
the default comms Baud rate settings are as follows:
PL3 = 9600 Baud
PL1 and PL2 = 1200 Baud
(these are factory set in software and are not hardware adjustable)

Note: the dry contact option must be specified at time of ordering together with the pre-programmed
messages required for each contact.

If the unit is supplied with a sealed lead acid battery, connect the battery leads to the terminals
marked BATT+ and BATT- on the power supply

(Positive) = Black+White stripe

(Negative)
= Black

Replace the cover and re-tighten the four retaining screws.

Finally, after checking all connections, insert the mains cable supplied into the
IEC
type
connector located at the base of the unit and plug in to a suitable switched wall outlet. With
mains power applied, the red LED on the base of the unit should be lit.

The system is now ready to accept calls from the host terminal. When a call is transmitted, the
green LED on the base of the unit will light momentarily.
Radio Transmission Baud Rate
This is fixed at the factory to suit the pagers supplied and will normally be set at either 512 or 1200
baud
