Operation Description:
AC5000 Medical Handrails Installation
Sub Assy of:
AC5000, AC5000M
Step 7: Tighten Splicer -
To secure handrail
extension in place at the splice, with a 5/16” or 8
mm allen wrench, tighten the socket head screw that
is located on the underneath side of the extension.

Secure Bottom Flange
w/ M8 Screws
Step 6: Mount Bottom Flange
Align mounting holes of bottom flange with treadmill
frame mount plate and secure in place with M8-
1.25 x 16 mm screws, finger tighten screws until
all four screws are in place, tighten screws with
7/32” or 6mm allen wrench. Repeat Steps 2-4 for
the opposite side. Tighten nuts loosened in Step 1.
Replace motor cover.
