Volume Lock
After you program your TV code into your remote control, it will
automatically control the TV’s volume while operating in the TV, VCR,
or CBL modes. You can also program the remote control so that you
can control the volume through the HCT or TV/VCR combination
while operating in TV, VCR, or CBL modes. We call this
Volume Lock
.
Note:
Volume Lock programming will remain active even if batteries
are removed for an extended period of time.
To switch your volume control to a device other than your TV, follow
the steps below.
1. Hold down
SET-UP

Important!
If you have a TV/VCR combination
unit, you need to enter a TV code to control
volume. Once you enter the TV code, the
volume control will work in any mode. In
most cases the TV code is the same as the
VCR or TV/VCR combination code already
entered, but for the codes noted in the table
on page 15, a different TV code is required for
volume control.
Note:
Your AllTouch Remote Control automatically controls only the
volume of your Aux device (CD Player) while in the AUX mode. You
cannot lock the volume to the AUX mode.
