INSTRUCTIONS
TO BUILD YOUR VERY OWN
PARTS INCLUDED IN THIS KIT
BACKGROUND
PREP
DIY LAMP
• Lay out your pieces so you can easily
identify them.
• Use markers or paint to decorate and
personalize your catapult. We recom-
mend coloring the wood pieces before
assembling the catapult.
• Your catapult has been laser-cut on
plywood which is not always uniform
in width. Consequently some pieces
may fit more tightly or loosely than
others.
• If the fit is tight, use sandpaper to
sand down parts. If the fit is loose,
you can use a little bit of wood glue
to secure the parts.
Have you ever wondered what causes
a bulb to turn on and how electricity
flows from a battery? You probably
use switches every day to turn things
on and off. But do you know how they
work? This DIY lamp kit will teach
you how to wire together a simple
circuit to create your very own lamp.
The kit does not include a battery
holder as you will make one yourself to
better understand just how batteries
work.
Make sure to carefully follow the
directions in this guide when putting
your circuit together. Always be
careful when building circuits.
