Front-Panel Operations
Operation and Target LEDs
use the
{Left Arrow}
and
{Right Arrow}
pushbuttons to select the digit to change
and the
{Up Arrow}
and
{Down Arrow}
pushbuttons to change the value. Press
{ENT}
to enter the new setting.
Setting changes can also be made using

SEL

QuickSet

SEL-5030
software or ASCII
SET
commands via a communications port.
Status Menu
The
Status
menu item of the
MAIN
menu allows you to access the
Relay
Status
data and
Reboot Relay
STATUS Command (Relay Self-Test
for the
STATUS
command description.
Reset Access Lvl Menu
Select the
Reset Access Lvl
menu item on the
MAIN
menu to reset the
front-panel access to level 1. The reset is confirmed by the display message
Access Lvl Reset

The SEL-749M provides quick confirmation of relay conditions via operation
and target LEDs.

You can reprogram all of these indicators except the
ENABLED
and
TRIP
LEDs
to reflect operating conditions other than the factory default programming
described in this subsection.
Settings T0
n
_LED are SEL
OGIC
control equations that, when asserted during
a relay trip event, illuminate the corresponding LED. Parameter
n
is a number
from 1 through 6 that indicates each LED. The target LEDs can be set to latch
by the user. The setting T0
n
LEDL is set to Y to accomplish this. This setting
is set to N to disable the latch. After setting the target LEDs, issue the
TAR R
command to reset the target LEDs. For a concise listing of the default
