Der Pneumatische Polarisationssteller PPS 9208
dient zum ferngesteuerten Polarisationswechsel
von Antennen mit 22 mm Rohr. Zum Betrieb ist
ein Pressluftanschluß mit ca. 5-6 bar erforder-
lich. Bei Pressluftanschlüssen mit höherem
Druck wird der Einsatz eines Druckminderers
empfohlen.
The pneumatic polarisation swivel adapter
PPS 9208 is used to change the polarisation
of Antennas with 22 mm tube remote con-
trolled. Compressed air with a recommended
pressure of 5 to 6 bar is required. Higher air
pressure should be reduced with a pressure
regulator.
Die Ansteuerung des doppeltwirkenden Pneuma-
tikzylinders erfolgt unter Verwendung eines 5/2-
Wegeventils, das elektrisch durch Anlegen oder
Weglassen einer 12V-Spannung angesteuert
werden kann. Es kann auch manuell mit einem
Schlitzschraubendreher umgeschaltet werden.
The control of the 2 way pneumatic cylinder is
performed using a 5/2-way valve, which can
be alternated by applying/removing a voltage
of 12V or manually by turning the red screw
using a screwdriver.
Um eine gleichmäßige Antennendrehbewegung
mit angemessener Geschwindigkeit zu erreichen,
werden Drosselventile eingesetzt. Das Ventil wird
standardmäßig mit einer 12V DC Magnetspule
ausgeliefert. Die Stromaufnahme beträgt etwa
200 mA. (auch erhältliche Spulentypen: 24V DC,
24V AC, 110V AC, oder 230V AC, jeweils 2,5
Watt) Die Drosselventile und die Endlagendämp-
fung sind ab Werk auf sinnvolle Werte einge-
stellt.
In order to achieve a smooth antenna rotation,
flow control valves are used. The flow control
valves and the end position damping are set
to reasonable values in the factory already. By
default we deliver a 12V 200mA DC operated
solenoid (also available:
24V DC, 24V AC,
110V AC, or 230V AC, 2,5 Watt respectively
)
The air flow control valves and the end posi-
tion damping are set to reasonable values by
the factory.
Montage und Inbetriebnahme:
Set up and installation:
Zunächst sollte der Polarisationssteller noch
ohne Antenne am Mast befestigt werden. Ver-
wenden Sie hierzu die Stiftmutter SW24. Anzie-
hen von Hand genügt in der Regel.
Schließen Sie nun Pressluft an der Seite des
Ventils an, wo nur ein einziger Schlauch heraus-
schaut. Legen Sie probeweise die Versorgungs-
spannung für das Ventil also z.B. 12 V DC an
und beobachten Sie die Reaktion! Nehmen Sie
die Spannung wieder weg! Der Polarisationsstel-
ler wechselt die Polarisation. Achtung: Die rote
Schraube darf hierzu nicht eingedrückt sein (Po-
sition „1“). Sie muss sich in Position “0” befinden
(Werkseinstellung).
Initially the Polarisation Swivel Adapter should
be attached to the antenna mast without
mounting the antenna itself. For this purpose
use the long nut size 24mm. Manual tighten-
ing without wrench is usually sufficient.
Then connect compressed air to the side of
the valve where only one tube can be con-
nected. Apply the designated supply voltage
for the solenoid e.g. 12 V DC and watch the
reaction! Remove the voltage again! The po-
larisation should change. The red screw may
not be pressed in (position „1“). The red screw
is for manual operation and must be in posi-
tion “0” (=factory setting)
Nun kann die Antenne mit dem 22 mm Rohr in
die Rohraufnahme des Polarisationsstellers
geschoben werden.
Now the antenna may be placed with its 22
mm tube into the fixture of the PPS 9208.
