Tightening the cable bundle
Um möglichst wenig Durchhang des Windungs-
pakets zu Erreichen, sind zwei Maßnahmen vor-
gesehen: Die Inneren vier Ecken können zum
Spannen des Windungspakets genutzt werden,
außerdem wird die später bodennahe Seite des
Windungspakets von einem Abdeckbrett unter-
stützt. Beim Spannen der Ecken ist abwechselnd
schrittweise und vorsichtig vorzugehen, damit alle
Ecken etwa auf gleiche Position kommen. Eine
zu starke Spannung der Ecken kann in ungünsti-
gen Fällen zum Abriss einer Windung oder zur
Beschädigung der Isolierung führen und ist unbe-
dingt zu vermeiden. Nachdem das Windungspa-
ket ausreichend gespannt ist, kann das Abdeck-
brett auf der Bodenseite der Spule montiert wer-
den. Die freien Enden der Spule werden mit den
Klemmen A und B verbunden. Die Überprüfung
des Wicklungssinns wird später durchgeführt,
nachdem die zweite Spule fertiggestellt ist.
In order to avoid sagging of the cable
bundle, there are two provisions: the inner
four corners can be adjusted to tighten the
cable bundle, further the side being close
to the ground is supported from below by
a wooden board. The tightening of the four
corners should happen carefully and
smoothly to obtain roughly equal positions
of all corners. Caution: Overtightening the
corners may destroy a turn of the bundle
or damage the isolation, which should be
avoided under all circumstances. Having
successfully tightened the bundle, the
wooden support board can be attached
with 12 screws at the Bottom Coil 1. The
free ends of the cables are connected to
the terminals A and B. The validation of
the correct turn orientation will be made
later after the second coil is available.
