Connecting up the receiver
You will find the corresponding labelling on the back of the unit (see diagram on page 5).
Connecting an antenna
Connect.the.antenna.cable.from.the.roof.or.room.antenna.to.the.RF.INPUT.DIGITAL.socket.(3).on.
the.receiver.
Via this connection you can power an antenna with signal amplifier with a DC voltage of 5VDC (max.
50mA).
WARNING:
The antenna voltage must only be switched on if the antenna actually is an active room antenna
with signal amplifier and if it does not already have a power source of its own (mains adaptor
or similar). Otherwise this may result in a short circuit or may destroy your antenna.
The.RF.OUTPUT.socket.(4).on.the.receiver.can.be.connected.to.the.antenna.socket.on.your.television.
set.using.a.HF-cable.(loopthrough.function.for.analogue.channels).
Connecting a television
Use.a.scart.cable.to.connect.the.TV.socket.(6).on.the.receiver.to.the.corresponding.scart.socket.on.
the.television.set.
Connecting a video recorder
Use.a.scart.cable.to.connect.the.VCR.socket.(5).on.the.receiver.to.the.corresponding.scart.socket.on.
the.video.recorder..
When.the.video.recorder.is.switched.to.playback.mode,.the.video.and.sound.signals.will.be.relayed.to.
the.television.via.the.receiver.(loopthrough.mode)..This.requires.the.digital.receiver.to.be.in.standby.
mode.
Connecting the mains adaptor
Connect.the.mains.adaptor.supplied.with.the.unit.to.the.DC-INPUT.+12.V.socket.(2).on.the.receiver.
Connecting a digital multi-channel amplifier (optional)
The.receiver.is.optionally.available.with.a.DIGITAL.OUT.socket.(7).for.a.DOLBY.DIGITAL.signal..
Use a suitable cable to connect this socket to your multi-channel amplifier.
