Please make sure that adequate material cross sections are used to ensure the proper function
of the movable jaw.

Fixed jaw
The fixed jaw is fixed with an M6 cylinder screw at the rear.
The torque is 9 Nm
The contour of the aluminium jaw (collision area) is visible from the outside. Please also make
sure that there is sufficient bearing surface with the fixed jaw.
9.1.3
Cutting out the clamping shape
In order to cut out the required contour from the aluminium jaws they have to be clamped in
the KSO.
Place a distance piece into the planned jaw opening
Tighten the M6 cylinder screw of the fixed jaw with 9 Nm
Tighten the spindle with the specified torque
Cut out the required clamping contour.
In view of the fact that clamping may be carried out in different ways, the setting up
technician is responsible for ensuring that adequate clamping cross sections exist and
that the workpiece tension is checked.
