1. Wastewater Disposal

The presence of untreated wastewater into rivers, lakes or other water receiving bodies may adversely affect
marine life and water quality.
Schulz Compressores S.A. recommends correct treatment of wastewater through processes that ensure envi-
ronmental protection and healthy quality of life in compliance with the regulatory requirements of the current
legislation.

2. Disposal of Solid Waste (large parts and product packaging)

The generation of solid waste is one aspect that must be considered by the user, in the use and the maintenance
of the equipment. The impacts caused in the environment may cause signifi cant changes in the soil quality, water
quality in surface and subsoil and the health of the population, through improper waste disposal (on streets,
water receiving bodies, landfi lls or plots, etc). Schulz Compressores S.A. recommends the management of the
waste derived from the product from its generation, handling, and treatment to its fi nal disposal. A suitable
management should consider the following stages: quantifi cation, qualifi cation, classifi cation, source reduction,
collection and selective collection, recycling, storage, transportation  treatment and fi nal destination. Waste
disposal should be done in compliance to regulatory requirements of current legislation.

Schulz Compressores S.A.,within the limits stated by this Term, assures the fi rst buyer the warranty against
workmanship defect for a period of  fi rst 90 (ninety) days, counted from the issue date of the invoice.
