4 Information on the Display
Sunny Boy and Sunny Mini Central inverters are supplied with a factory-installed LC display on the
enclosure lid.
4.1 Display Messages in the Startup Phase
• After startup of the inverter, the display first shows
the device type.
• After 6 seconds, the firmware versions of the
operation control unit (BFR) and the current control
unit (SRR) are displayed.
• Inverters that are equipped with the SMA Power
Balancer subsequently indicate the operating mode
of the SMA Power Balancer.

Detailed explanations of the individual error and fault messages can be found in Section
6 "Measurement Channels and Messages" (page 28).
