Connection of the windshield
If rain cover is installed: To connect the setup, open
the top foam lid on one side by opening the Velcros.
The metallic mounting cylinder with the eye bolts
does
not
need to be uninstalled. Lift the black rubber.
Now, connect the two Multipin connectors of the windshield to the two multicore breakout
cables.
Take care, there are two different breakout cables:

One breakout cable has 4 XLR outlets

The other breakout cable has 4 XLR outlets plus
the connector for the heating. Connect this
breakout cable to the cable outlet which is
marked with “heating”. See picture on the right.

For the correct channel allocation, remember
which breakout cable was connected to the cable
outlets marked with “Top” (ch 5-8) and
“bottom” (ch 1-4).
Protect the connected plugs by putting them into the
sleeve (if existing).
