Prepare Camera Mounting Location

 

! Installation in a covered area is recommended.

 

! Consult the NEC and local electrical codes for information 
on electrical requirements.

a. 

Before permanent installation, verify wireless Camera opera-
tion using your Nexia account.

b. 

Attach the base to the wall with three (3) screws and wall 
anchors (included). 

Make certain that the base is secure 

on the wall.

c. 

Attach the power adapter to AC power outlet.

 The power adapter is not rated for exposure to moisture.

If the power adapter is located outdoors, follow these impor-
tant steps:
•  Attach the power adapter to a covered outlet (shown, not

included), making sure the adapter plug is completely
covered.

•  If the extension cable connector may be exposed to

moisture, place it in a covered location, or use a silicone 
sealant or a water-tight cord connector (shown, not
included) to protect the cable joint from moisture.

Attach Camera to Stand

a. 

Turn Camera clockwise to attach threaded mount on back of 
Camera to the swivel connector.

b. 

Attach the AC power cable to the power port on the Camera. 
Secure the water seal.

c. 

If the Camera is connected to a wireless network, then install 
the water sealing cap over the Camera’s ethernet port.

Test the camera view using your Nexia Account.

If necessary, loosen the knob on the swivel connector and adjust the camera angle.
