Changing the handpiece rotation direction
The handpiece can be changed
from right-hand to left-hand rotation via the
control satellite. The default direction of rotation
is right-hand.
Changing the direction of rotation:

Briefly press the button. The symbol on the LCD shows the selected direction of rotation.
If the handpiece is subjected to greater forces in left-hand rotation,
the chuck may become loose. If the QUBE II is used by left-handers with left-
handed tools, it is recommended you use special left-handed handpiece Art.No.
9002/08.
Using the optional electric wax knife
If the optional electric wax knife, Art.No. 9066, is connected to the control unit of the
it can also be controlled via the control satellite.
Switching on the electric wax knife:
 Briefly press the button. The LCD display switches to displaying the heat output.
 Use the wheel to set a heating value between 1 and 20 within three seconds.

After three seconds, the display will change back to the normal speed, show the
symbol and adjusted heating value.
Changing the heat output:
 Briefly press the button once and adjust the heating value using the wheel within three
seconds.
 The wax knife switches off if the heating value is not changed.
Switching off the electric wax knife:
 Briefly press the button.
 The wax knife switches off after three seconds without further input.
