Ordering replacement parts
Please quote the following data when ordering
replacement parts:
• Type of machine
• Article number of the machine
10. Disposal and recycling
The unit is supplied in packaging to prevent its being
damaged in transit. This packaging is raw material and
can therefore be reused or can be returned to the raw
material system.
The unit and its accessories are made of various
types of material, such as metal and plastic. Defective
components must be disposed of as special waste.
Ask your dealer or your local council.
If you want to continue a weld after an interruption, the
slag from your initial attempt must first be removed.
Overheating guard
The welding set is fitted with an overheating guard that
protects the welding transformer from overheating. If
the overheating guard trips, the control lamp (4) on
your set will be lit. Allow the welding set to cool for a
time.
9. Cleaning, maintenance and storage
Remove the power plug and wait until the fan has
stopped and the machine has completely cooled down
before performing any cleaning or maintenance tasks.
Cleaning
• Remove dust and dirt from the machine at
regular intervals. Cleaning is best carried out with
compressed air, a fine brush or a cloth.
• We recommend that you clean the device
immediately each time you have finished using it.
Maintenance
Before every start of work:
• Check the unit function. Do not work with a defective
unit.
• Check the cable for damage and replace it with a
cable of the same quality if necessary.
• There are no parts inside the equipment which
require additional maintenance.

Defect
Use a fuse of other switching-on characteristics.
Have it repaired
Even welding
impossible
Poor earthing contact on the cable /tongs
Clean the piece and provide for good contact
Check and replace the cable if necessary

Unclean piece
Wrong type of electrode chosen
Electrodes are damp
Remove rust, grease and other dirt before welding
Select the electrodes according to the material to be
welded.
Dry the electrodes or dispose of them
Welding current not
available
Reverse conduct of the welding current do not
provide right contact
Thermal protection light on
Defective electronics
Check the reverse line of welding current for good
contact
Let the unit cool down. The work may be continued
when the light indicator goes off.
