7. Before starting the equipment
Adjustment of the hand chain
The chain hoist is supplied with a hand chain
whose length is proportional to the pass of the
pulley. In case of normal installation it satisfies
the condition of proper adjustment of the chain
end. In cases in which the length of hand chain
does not appeal the prescribed conditions, it is
necessary to shorten or lengthen the chain.

familiar with the “without load” function of the chain hoist.
2 Brake control system
Test the brakes as follows:
• Hung the load
• Lift the load
