4. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Store this manual in a safe place so you can use it whenever it is needed.
The instructions and descriptions this manual contains are designed for various
types of fridges and freezers. So the manual may contain some descriptions of
functions or accessories which are not part of your current appliance.
Strictly observe the following safety-advice
before you connect or operate the appliance.
Check the technical periphery of the appliance! Do all wires and connections to
the appliance work properly? Or may they be time-worn and do not match the
efficiency of the appliance? A check-up of existing and newly-made
connections must be done by an authorized professional.
All connections and energy-leading components ( also wires inside a wall) must
be checked by an authorized professional.
This appliance may be operated by
children
aged from 8 years and above as
well as by persons with reduced physical, sensory and mental capabilities or lack
of experience and knowledge if they are supervised or have been instructed
concerning the safe use of the appliance and do comprehend the hazards
involved.

must not play with the appliance. Cleaning and

Transport and handling
1.
If you move the appliance, hold it at its base and lift it up carefully. Hold the
appliance in an upright position.
2.
Never use the doors to move the appliance. This will damage the hinges.
3.
The appliance must be transported by at least
two persons
.
4.
If the appliance is transported in a horizontal position, some oil may flow from
the compressor into the refrigerant circuit.
5.
Leave the appliance in an upright position for
4-6 hours
before you switch it on
to ensure, that the oil has flowed back into the compressor.
6.
The supply cord must not be caught under the appliance while or after moving
it.
NOTICE!
Be very careful when handling the appliance.
Rings and bracelets can scratch the surface of the appliance.
Energy supply
1.
Remove the plug from the socket before you start to clean or maintain the
appliance.
2.
Always connect the appliance to a dedicated socket.
